I'd like to suggest something for OCULA to consider -- scheduling open meetings of mid-level coordinators and managers for an exchange of ideas between those who hold similar roles in different institutions. This year, I arranged an ad-hoc dinner during Superconference for the information literacy coordinators at the OCULA universities. It won't happen until Feb 2 but there was a lot of interest in the event and several coordinators are able to attend. This kind of model works well at ALA. I could see something like this for digital resources coordinators; associate librarians; heads of reference; information literacy coordinators; heads of access services; collection development managers; marketing librarians; and probably many more.
