I'm interested in hearing from those of you who have hosted or experienced a presentation by a children's author or illustrator. In particular I'm looking for dynamic presenters. If you have any suggestions please reply!

This one might be obvious but we had Dennis Lee a year or so ago and he was amazing! We held it at the Theatre next door (because our meeting room is too smal) and he had 300 kids all saying Alligator Pie together.

Add Richard Scrimger and Kevin Sylvester to that list too. At the Eden Mills Writers' Festival, Ken Oppel and Arthur Slade had to follow Richard Scrimger and they both looked daunted. And Kevin Sylvester is just amazing.
