notes from the edge - 26

It is truly funny how you can take time away, relax and refuel, and then, once the race begins again, feel as if you have never been away! That is how I feel right now, having just completed 4 assignments due on Tuesday. Yes, I went to Bermuda. Yes the pink sands and turquoise waters were exquisite. And YES, the "Dark and Stormy" is a thing of beauty (a wonderful drink that even I could become addicted to), but it all seems so long ago!

I switched around my classes somewhat this week. Now I am taking two technology courses, one in web design and the other in Internet broadcasting. For those of you who have seen me around computers, take heart, I think I am really going to enjoy these. The learning hurdles will be many, not the least of all the switch to MAC for these two courses, but they also look exciting and refreshing. Then again, talk to me in 10 weeks when I am trying to build my own website, all by myself. The course I dropped is the Marketing and Public Relations course, it just did not seem to meet my needs.

Now back to the grind for me. I have an article to write for OLA as well as some readings to do for my courses next week.
