I spoke to Meighan Wark Wed. Aug. 24, and she said the library has six broken windows, some roof damage and no power. The heritage building, owned by the municipality is just off Court House Square, where much damage was reported. Jami van Haaften, Friends of Canadian Libraries.

The Goderich Library is fine and opened for business on Tuesday this week. Still roof and window repair to happen.

John, Eliot and I are grateful to be safe. Today is the first official day of my retirement and now I have a couple of new projects, rebuilding our home, which will be torn down, and helping to rebuild our wonderful community. Here is a video which gives you a sense of what it is like:

Our house is at 7:58 min., neighbourhood following.

Thank you to all for your concern and support,

Beth Ross
